Snickers Workwear extends its 'Stretch' collection

Answering the increasing demand for ergonomic workwear and following the rapid development in stretch materials, Snickers Workwear is extending its stretch assortment with three new styles for the Spring/Summer season 2019. The new items, which include two pairs of shorts and one pair of trousers, come with a slim, stretchy fit.

New and improved stretch materials

There has been a massive development in stretch fibre technology during recent years, resulting in new and improved materials with mechanical, 2-way or 4-way stretch. This development, driven largely by growing demands within the sportswear industry, now also fully embraces high-quality workwear.

“The human body is three-dimensional and, by using stretch fabrics in combination with pre-shape design, we can offer workwear with exceptional fit, freedom of movement and comfort,” says Tobias Rantzén, Assortment Manager at Snickers Workwear. “Stretch material is either placed in the bending directions or where the body expands. For example, stretch panels can be placed in the sleeves as well as on or above the knees to enable craftsmen to move freely and use their full potential.”

Stretchy and slim-fitting

The three new items include 6341 AllroundWork, Stretch Trousers, 6143 AllroundWork, Stretch Shorts, and 6141 AllroundWork, Stretch Shorts Holster Pockets. All three garments, which are based on the popular 6241 trousers, come with Snickers Workwear’s proprietary Slim fit, offering a relatively tight, figure-hugging fit.

“Using stretch fabrics means we can tailor the garments to a slimmer fit when needed, resulting not only in a new look but also soft and stretchy items that follow your every move and give you comfort,” Tobias Rantzén says.
