Watching the World Rally Championships In My Snickers Workwear Jacket

I will start quickly by telling you that my name is Mark and I work in a power tool shop that sells Snickers Workwear, that sentence seems irrelevant and out of place but all will transpire later on in this tale. Well the date had been set and we were off to watch the different stages of the world rally championships, the boys were ready for this one we have been planning it for what seems like an eternity it was going to be a full week of rallying at its best but the only dilemma was what to wear for this out-doors 7 day extravaganza, thank god for my newSnickers Workwear

We all met up to discuss our traveling arrangements and our rally watching itinerary, what clothes we were going to take with us, I was defiantly taking my snicker workwear as we had just had a training day at work by a representative from the Snickers Workwear and what he explained that the clothing could do in terms of protection from the many changing weather situations that trip would throw at us, but just as importantly to me it is sad to say was looking good and after seeing the new stock of Snickers Workwear jacket arrive at work 2 days before we left I knew that it would be the perfect choice as it was made from GOR-TEX and was super stylish and fashionable but totally waterproof, windproof and would keep me completely warm and dry while not making me sweat like standard all weather jackets do, they other boys had never heard of Snickers Workwear before all though a couple of days previous I did Inbox them all on Facebook to let them know how perfect the jackets would be and did they want me to bring a couple home for them to see for themselves, this unfortunately for them later on in the rally trip was meet with laughter, ‘’We are not wearing work clothes are you mad”” was the general consensus amongst the lads, oh how they would come to eat those words, after a few cold beers it was decided we would go to Germany first to catch the tricky leg that drives through the forest on very dangerous surfaces.

After arriving at the hotel in Germany were we would spend the next couple of days watching the through the forest leg of the world rally championships it was time to meet up to catch our minibus to the rally before getting into the minibus I started to notice what the other lad were wearing and to be honest I was shocked most of them thought we were either going to the gym or the local pub from what they had on, none of them had the protection I had from my Snickers Workwear. I said to the boy’s lads if the weather goes bad out here you have got nowhere to hide as the forest at this time of the year has no leaves on the trees which mean no cover.

10 minutes later it happened with a loud crack of thunder and lightening the flood gates opened everybody was getting drenched and to make it worse there was a cold wind as well, luckily for me I had the Snickers Workwear jacket on and was dry and comfortable, as for the boys in there pub and gym clothes the words are unrepeatable that came out of their mouths but the next day they had all gone and bought a snickers jacket after seeing how warm and comfortable I was.
