Snickers Workwear launches Denim Trousers that are smart, comfortable and hardwearing. Today’s workers expect more from their clothing than the gold-diggers back in the 19th century did, but denim is still a favourite as its so comfortable, and a pleasure to wear. That’s why Snickers Workwear has created a new denim material that brings the fine old traditional craftsmen’s trouser into the 21st century why not give them ago.

Denim was used as early as in the 16th century and is considered one of the oldest textiles in the world. In 1853 Levi Strauss had a major breakthrough with his worker’s denim trousers that became a huge success among the gold-diggers in San Francisco. In the 21st century, denim is still popular in the world of fashion, and now Snickers has launched denim workwear trousers for workers.

Most of us have a pair of jeans among our favourites in the closet probably more than a couple of pairs. Snickers has developed a new kind of denim fabric that’s comfortable and hardwearing enough to suit our customers’ needs, and now we present a pair of nice looking denim work trousers with clever solutions for craftsmen all the beifits and solutions found in the normal range of Snickers trousres, said Petra Engström, Product Manager, Snickers Workwear

In addition to being a highly durable fabric, the textile experts at Snickers Workwear also took great care to ensure the material got a proper “jeans feeling” to it. The denim work trousers feature a smart design with red details and a leather label, and are reinforced with bartacks and rivets where the seams are highly exposed to wear. On the knees and at the bottom of the pockets, the fabric is reinforced with Heavy Cordura®, a hardwearing material which was developed during the Second World War to be used as a core inside the rubber material of army car tyres. The protective knee pads live up to the EU-standard, CE EN 14404.

For the convenience of the worker the denim trousers have a number of clever pockets that offer safe storage and easy access to the things the craftsman needs throughout the workday. They can take the Snickers kneepads. There are two wide pockets in the front, two deep pockets with lids in the back, two pockets on the sides that offer a number of compartments and options. The patented knife fastener, Knife Loop™, adds an extra level of safety, and keeps the knife securely in place.
