Motor Bike Road Trip using My Snickers Workwear Gore-Tex jacket

About 3 years ago me and my friend planned a road trip across Europe on our Honda gold wing motor bikes, one of the key issues to the trip was what clothing to wear on the journey as wearing motor bike leathers are more suites to racing type bike and not really suitable for touring long journeys in total comfort from the changing weather climates that we were likely to face, my friend Eric had a lot more money than me so he went and kitted himself out in full motor bike attire from head to toe which was extremely expensive, I myself had to bit a little more prudent with my money as I am married with 3 children and my wife was not to impressed already with my mid life crises as she put it, to take time away from the family to go on this fantastic adventure, so without wanting to added fuel to the fire and upset my wife anymore than I had to I needed a less expensive option, this is when I thought about using my Snickers Workwearjacket that I already own as I am a builder and have to work outside a lot in all seasons I knew that it was exceptional at dealing with snow, wind and rain while having the ability to keep me warm and transports sweat and moisture away from my body to give me the maximum comfort possible while allowing me to function unhindered all of these great feature I knew the Snickers Workwearwould be ideal for driving a large touring motor bike along way through the different European climates.

Having decided that this was the way forward for me I went to see Eric about the itinerary for our adventure, while at Eric house the topic of clothing cropped up as he enthusiastically model all his new motor bike clothing attire to me very proud of how it looked and what top quality leather and brand name it was, the conversation then turned to what I would be wearing on our road trip and Eric could not believe what I was suggesting “”wearing you rSnickers Workwear”” he gasped nearly choking on his glass of wine, you see Eric is an a lawyer and has never had to work outside in the rain and cold and usually only goes riding his beloved gold wing on fair weather occasions but I on the other hand had been following the weather conditions by satellite on the internet and knew we were in for some rough conditions but out of amusement because of his reaction to my choice to wear Snickers Workwear for our road trip kept them to myself.

It was November the 5th and our road trip adventure had begun we got off to a great start driving through a couple of Europe’s beautiful continents the disaster struck in Germany the rain came down in buckets and Eric smug look on his face soon turned to despair as his fancy motor bike leather had started to chaff the back of his neck and under his armpit area from the rain as his leathers were totally soaked through which made it very uncomfortable to ride, where I on the other hand was dry as a bone and fresh as a daisy in my Snickers Workwear to get up the next day and commence our journey, looking out of my hotel bedroom window in the morning I noticed that it had started to rain again I wondered what Eric was thinking, I didn’t have to wait long to find as over breakfast Eric announced with wry smile on his face that we would be delaying our trip for a couple of hours while he went into town to buy a Snickers Workwear GOR-TEX jacket and trousers.
