About Snickers Workwear
Snickers Workwear Limited was founded in Sweden in 1975, and since then has grown strongly so that today Snickers Workwear is one of Europe's leading brands in work wear and is represented in 15 countries. We manufactures and provide work wear for professional tradesmen and service people, our products are renowned for their quality, function and innovative solutions.
Our Story
It all begins with a true story. Frustration and anger leads to an innovation, which in turn, creates a company. This is what makes Snickers so special, a true story from real life:
From 1959 to 1972 the founder of Snickers, Matti Viio, worked as an electrician - first building high tension lines and then installing domestic and industrial wiring. Technologically, a great deal happened in those years. Materials and tools evolved, as did the working methods.
One thing didn't change: work wear. They were still just the same as in the mid-nineteenth century. They may have been fine in those days, but after more than a hundred years people's needs and requirements had changed. Work wear failed to fulfill these modern requirements and were no longer considered practical or comfortable.
Manufacturers showed no interest in the "worker's" real needs. Several times Matti Viio suggested modifications, no one listened. In the end, he lost his temper and got angry as hell.
“One day, I went home from work and designed my own garments to work in! That was my protest against the established work wear industry. I wanted to show that we workers have pride and know-how, and that our need of respect is the same as that of all other groups in society.” (Matti Viio).
Today the spirit of Snickers Workwear is the same as it was when the company began. Snickers Workwear has always aimed and suceeded in solving functional problems for professional needs. A combination of professional know-how, pride and self-esteem has provided us with the successful product range we know and love today.

Quality takes time. Sophisticated testing and quality control procedures are carried out at every stage of the process, from the moment a new design leaves the drawing board through to final quality certification.

We make relevant functions on durable and reliable garments to fit the roughest conditions. All functions are tested by our end-customers.
Design
Our motto is hard-wearing timeless garments with good design. All our garments are made out of passion to meet the needs and demands of professionals at work.
